Dmitry’s
work can be catalogued into the so called classic stenopeic photography,
into the found landscapes or into the magic sensation of solitude
in which time makes a stop of multiple seconds, characteristic
of the stenopeic technique, about which so many artists talk as
if it was like a shelter and an escape from reality.
Dmitry’s
work conveys calmness and so it can be seen with those substantial
changes of perspective in the harbours and those quiet waters;
as if he was a fisherman of sensations, who spends long hours
letting time pass by in a talk to himself. This author also does
it with his camera looking for a nonexistent reality, maybe showing
us an imaginary world.
